i personally believe that anyone that is considered to be an "authority figure" (police officers, teachers), or a "pillar of the community" (local government) should face double the penalty when they break the law. these are the people that we as a society put our trust into. these are the people that we tell our children to go to when they have a problem.
every day, i see shit in the paper, internet, or news where people receive reduced sentences or even probation because of their "status within the community". what? fuck that.
and get rid of these pussy ass prisons like mid-state (mscf)in nj. that is a prison for crooked cops, lawyers, judges, snitches, and those white - collar motherfuckers like madoff (who deserves to be fried). put everybody together in general population.
